Abstract

Tulou, the earthen building, is the world cultural heritage. It is famous for its various shapes and structures. However, opinions are different about its concept and classification. Tulou in Najing of Fujian Province will be divided into three types in the thesis, that is, round, square and deviant forms, according to the study of architectural forms, functional layout and elements of the construction.
