Abstract

Under the background of the new era, in order to improve the quality of senior high school biology curriculum education, biology teachers need to explore more effective teaching strategies of senior high school. 3D printing technology, which has been given a “Digital Revolution” background, has entered an era of rapid development. When 3D printing comes into the classroom, it will also bring many surprises to the classroom. In biology class, the teacher instructs students to design the DNA molecular biological model with SolidWorks software, then uses Simplify 3D software to slice the model, finally uses FDM 3d printer to print the DNA molecular model. The model is much more intuitive than the floor plan in the textbook, making it easier for the students to grasp the knowledge. At the same time, 3D printing is a rapid prototyping technology, so there is no pressure on teaching time. After students learn how to operate the instrument and are granted teacher’s permission, they can print out the expected personalized items. In this way, students can also greatly develop students’ hands-on and brain-on abilities, so as to achieve the transformation of the school teaching mode.
