Abstract

This paper is a selective review of recent studies on learning strategy training from the perspectives of theoretic significance of strategy training research, applications of strategy training in different language skills, and evaluations of learning strategy training. Pedagogical implications of these studies are discussed collectively, and some areas for future research of the field are suggested at the end of the paper.
