- Abstract
Through the comparative study of the major of advertising design& production in department of visual communication in the college of art design of Guangdong Industry Polytechnic and the visual communication major in the college of art and design and architecture (MADA) of Australia's Monash university, this paper aims to find the commonalities and differences between Chinese and Australian art design education based on the comparison of the content of the curriculum, including the value orientation of training target, teaching concept and other related documents, basic data, to address the weak links and provide practical guidance and help for building world-class design education.
