- Abstract
The objective of this research is conducting learning improvement related to testing model and assessment process. The significance of this research is producing high order thinking instrument assessment in mathematics at senior high school grade XI which has fulfilled the requirements consists: 1) fit with the PCM and 1) senior high school students’ difficulty item respondent in grade XI in Majene Regency are; SMA Negri 1 Majene, SMA Negri 2 Majene, and SMA Negri 3 Majene. The procedure of this research are; 1) planning instrument, 2) experimenting instrument, 3) assembling test. The phase of planning instrument includes; a) determining test’s purpose b) determining the competence which will be tested c) determining the subject which will be tested d) arranging lattices test e) writing item based on development HOT test’s principles f) validity test item g) repair and assembling test, and h) arranging assessment guide. The stages of training instruments include; a) deciding subject experiment test (SMA), b) conducting experiment test c) result of data analysis with techniques are; 1) goodness fit 2) reliability 3) curve item characteristic 4) difficulty index, and 5) function of information and SEM.
