- Abstract
In today’s electronic circuits, there’s a strong emphasis on crafting designs that are both high-speed and low-power to meet the diverse needs of applications. Comparators play a vital for converting analog signals into digital ones, are highly sought after for their ability to operate quickly and consume minimal power, although their precision maybe moderate. The creation of a high-speed, low-power comparator requires careful attention, as it’s a critical component that should consume minimal power and introduce minimal delay. Among the various design approaches, the Dynamic Comparator and the Proposed Comparator with cross coupled inverter are compared and analyzed to develop a high-speed comparator. The design methodology aims to minimize propagation delays and power consumption while enhancing overall performance.
