- Abstract
This paper presents the study of various spirometers and their techniques, which has been done before. Spirometry is nothing but a test that can be performed on those who have respiratory diseases. Handheld spirometers provide results for forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1) and forced vital capacity (FVC), which can be manually compared to available estimated normal values. The most basic handheld spirometers offer one-second forced expiratory volume. Values of forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1) and forced vital capacity in one second can be compared manually, using the normal available values.
