Abstract

In this research, polycarboxylate superplasticizer is synthetized by solution polymerization. Some influencing factors on synthesis of the product are studied such as raw material composition, reaction time, initiator and pH value of the reaction system. The results show: When the amount of MA used in the reaction is 14%, the fluidity and the water-reducing rate of the product reach the highest, 240 mm and 54% respectively; when the amount of AMPS used in the reaction is 14%, the fluidity and the water-reducing rate of the product reach the highest, 250 mm and 56.5% respectively; when the amount of the initiator used in the reaction accounts for 8%, the fluidity and the water-reducing rate of the product reach the highest, 250 mm and 56.5% respectively; when the reaction time is 2 hours, the fluidity and the water-reducing rate of the product reach the highest, 230 mm and 53.5% respectively; when pH value is 2, the fluidity and the water-reducing rate of the product reach the highest, 230 mm and 53.5% respectively.
