Abstract

This study delves into the synergistic application of holistic preservation and virtual reality technology in the conservation of traditional architecture. The integration of the comprehensive conservation approach inherent in holistic preservation with immersive virtual reality experiences serves to augment the efficacy of preservation endeavors. Virtual reality technology contributes significantly by facilitating a deeper understanding of architectural heritage, assisting in informed decision-making for restoration efforts, and revitalizing the practice of traditional architecture conservation. Finally, the engineering implications of this study are discussed in detail.
