Abstract

Cement mortar is typical of a brittle material, with high compressive strength, low tensile strength, flexural strength, and bonding strength. This paper introduces that several polymer emulsions modified cement mortar. By researching the water-reducing, impermeability and mechanical properties of cement mortar, the results shows SD623 (Styrene-butadiene rubber latex) is most obvious.
