Abstract

The research conducted to identify the Factors Affecting Consumer Demand for Cayenne Pepper at Pare Market, Kediri Regency. This research is a type of descriptive research that analyzes the effect of one variable on another and conducts hypothesis testing. The type of data used in this study is quantitative data, the data sources used are primary data and secondary data, then multiple data. The regression method produces the results obtained showing that income has a significant effect on the demand for cayenne pepper, while the number of families and the price of cayenne pepper have a significant effect on the demand for cayenne pepper, although partially but together, indicating that it will not be given. Income and family size have a significant effect on the amount of demand for cayenne pepper by consumers in Kediri District, which is the main market for cayenne pepper.
