- Abstract
The author of the article proposes to consider the rational and irrational in social communications in their dialectically contradictory unity on the basis of the methodology of the activity approach. In order to denote this unity the author introduces a new philosophical term "sipol". This term implies the consideration of the unity of the rational and the irrational as the unity of the two social and informational fields.
