Abstract

Foreign language education in private universities focuses on the training goal and curriculum of applied talents. According to the characteristics of students' learning and teaching process in private colleges and universities, a unique method of basic foreign language teaching for private undergraduate students is developed. The formulation and implementation of a variety of strategies can change learners' learning motivation, learning evaluation, learning ways, thus changing the quality of learners. By balancing the application of grammar translation teaching method and communicative teaching method in classroom teaching, we can design more effective group tasks.
