- Abstract
Watching the English history film can not only make the history major students learn language and history knowledge, but also change the students' traditional concept of English learning, change from passive learning to active learning. The English history film allows students to experience the history and culture, promoting students' English listening and speaking ability. But we should select the appropriate theme of the English history film to stimulate students 'strong interest in English learning and improve students' English listening and speaking skills.
