- Abstract
The paper considers the problem of the estimation of how migration depends on the level of economic development and institutional support. We aim to test the hypothesis on the impact of migration to economic development, put forward in the framework of population ageing in relation to developed countries, using cases of Russia and Vietnam. We have concluded that there is no significant relationship between the dynamics of the workforce and external labor migration, working-age population and the dynamics of GDP and between work capacity and unemployment.
