Abstract

Unlike general papers, academic papers are scientific, creative, theoretical and professional. Under the background of China's opening up policy and the implementation of the “Belt and Road” initiative, the exchanges and cooperation with other countries in the field of petroleum engineering become more and more frequent. Therefore, the demand for translation of academic papers in petroleum engineering is also increasing. It is hoped that the methods based on relevance theory can provide good enlightenment and reference for the translation of academic papers in this field.
