- Abstract
On March 28, 2023, Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group said it would reorganize itself into six business groups, each with its own CEO and board of directors, and be able to conduct independent funding and Initial Public Offerings. This paper will focus on Alibaba’s behavior that deviates from the original traditional business model, and analyze it from three aspects: event background, event description, event value and risk.
