- Abstract
The article is devoted to the actual aspects of the system improvement of the government support of the families with children, at the federal and regional levels to make the demographic situation in Russia and its regions better on the example of the Kurgan region. The stability of the demographic problem for Russia with its specificity of functioning of social processes is paid special attention to and one of the contexts of the demographic issues, leveling of the family institution in the Russian society, is outlined. Based on the statistical and sociological research methods, the authors analyze the effectiveness of the government regulators on the protection of the family, motherhood, fatherhood and childhood, having a complex socio-economic character. The conducted analysis has allowed revealing and explaining underutilized potential of mainly information resources of the government measures of the support of families with children, at the regional level in the first place. On the basis of the identified problems in this sphere, the prior directions of their solution are indicated.
