Abstract

There are great differences between Chinese and English, different cultural backgrounds and values lead to the pragmatic failure of the translation of propaganda terms. Based on the analysis of the differences between Chinese language and English language in meaning, expression and discourse characteristics, this paper aims to analyze the pragmatic contrast of propaganda translation in cross-cultural perspective, to achieve the pragmatic equivalence of the translation of propaganda language, and improve the dissemination effect of the propaganda language.
