Abstract

This paper takes Chinese “985 project” universities as object and studies on the internationalization rationale and practice by analyzing their mission, charter and “12th five-year plan”. The result indicates that the “985 project” universities have clear goal and enhance the internationalization by multiple ways. However, the development of internationalization only emphasizes specific and working practical indicators while the understanding and illustration of connotation are inadequate.
