Abstract

Recently, the MOOCs which developed rapidly in China higher education are facing with some difficulties. Firstly, the congenital defects of MOOCs in skill training, educational ethics and organizing forms were reviewed. Then the differences between liberal education and professional education, natural science and humanistic and social science, undergraduate education and graduate education were discussed in detail for a better incorporation of MOOCs into traditional higher education. Finally, it was pointed out that in the design and development of MOOCs researchers should be pay attentions on college entrance and advanced placement program, cross-disciplines and new branches of science, as well as graduate education.
