- Abstract
With the continuous development of economic globalization, the trade between countries is becoming more and more frequent, and the economic exchanges between countries are also increasing, which also promotes the emergence of more and more transnational enterprises. Human resource management in enterprises is a very important factor affecting the competitiveness of multinational enterprises, among which the management of expatriates is a great challenge for the managers of multinational companies. Therefore, it is necessary to analyse the problems encountered in the management of expatriates and summarize the countermeasures, which will provide the managers of multinational companies with good coping strategies for the expatriate problems, so as to promote the good operation of the company. This paper uses related theories and cases to analyse the problem of expatriate management in multinational corporations. Combining the theory of human resource configuration, Hofstede cultural dimensions theory and Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory, find out the expatriates in the process of sending the problem, and once again according to the related theory put forward relevant countermeasures to solve these problems, to improve the management level of foreign multinational company sent personnel, makes the expats can complete the task on schedule.
