Abstract

The paper deals with phenomenological foundations of multiculturalism on the basis of the categories of following concepts: multi-layer being, concretization, intentionality, life world, epoché. Structural and functional methods are used for the analysis. As a result, a more subtle theory of multiculturalism is formulated beyond the “melting pot” and “cultural salad” concepts.
