Abstract

The authors analyze the concept RUSSIAN LANGUAGE as an element of the linguistic worldview. The paper compares the worldviews of native speakers of Russian and non-native speakers learning Russian through immersion into the linguistic and cultural environment and without it. The authors review the most representative studies of the concept, compare the results of association experiments, and make a conclusion about a specific nature of the concept in the worldview of non-native speakers of Russian learning the language outside the linguistic and cultural environment.
