Abstract

This paper summarizes the main characteristics and breakthroughs of exchange and cooperation in higher education between the both sides of Taiwan Straits for the past 6 years; analyzes how to improve IT education quality through exchange and cooperation between cross-strait colleges, as well as the joint education programs of the both sides of straits; and at last, this paper analyzes the obstacles that the Taiwan colleges are faced in recruiting students from the mainland and the difficulties that the graduators face in hunting jobs.
