Abstract

Considering the difference between actors’ fee, this paper constructed the model of movie talent scheduling problem to minimize the total costs of talents. According to the characteristic of the problem, this paper applies the genetic algorithm with elitist strategy and the discrete particle swarm optimization algorithm which combined genetic operations and can adjust the inertia weight dynamically to work out this problem in different sizes. Experimental results show that, the genetic algorithm with elitist strategy can obtain a better solution when the problem size is small, while the discrete particle swarm optimization is more efficient for the large scale problems.
