Abstract

The size of underground economy has been expending quickly during past decades due to its nature. There has been increasing theoretical and empirical research in this area, trying not only to determine the size but also the main reasons for it. This paper summarizes the main opinions in this research filed and discusses the impact on the relationship between corruption and the growth of underground economy.
