Abstract

Beck put forward the concept of "family in the post-family era", intending to point out the future development trend of families in Western countries. Since the reform and opening up of China, the family, which is the most basic unit of society, has also ushered in modern transformation that its structure become in miniaturization and centralization，as well as， shown the characteristics of convergence with the family system in Western countries, with the economic transition and social restructuring. It’s valuable to deem whether Beck’s "family in the post-family era" will come true like western countries in China. Therefore, analyzing the theoretical background and core conceptions as well as setting forth of "family in the post-family era" in-depth has a great significance for our country at the present stage.
