- Abstract
Chinese animation has a long history, and one of its sources of inspiration is ancient mythology. The purpose of this article is to explore the representation of mythological themes in Chinese animation and how it has evolved in different periods. Through the analysis of representative works, we can understand the status and role of mythological themes in the development of Chinese animation, as well as its value in cultural inheritance and contemporary aesthetic concepts.
