- Abstract
Director Zhong Menghong abandoned the grand narrative of family and country and focused on the family life of the common people. Show the family emotions and mental state of ordinary people with a “cold, deep and even dark” film style.《A Sun》continues the theme of “family”, mainly telling the story of the son’s loss of self-awareness due to the morbidity of the family and the lack of parental existence, which eventually turned into a family tragedy. From the perspective of psychoanalysis, this article extends from parents’ neglect of duty and personal loss to the widespread family predicament and personal spiritual crisis in society.
