- Abstract
In recent years, small and medium-sized enterprises have made important contributions to promoting economic development. As a favorable measure for the government to encourage innovation, financial subsidies are of great significance to ease the financing difficulties of enterprises. The data of manufacturing enterprises in GEM from 2017 to 2022 were selected as samples to analyze the relationship between fiscal and tax policies, R&D investment and enterprise performance. The results show that financial subsidies have positive incentive effect on R&D investment; R&d investment has a significant positive effect on firm performance. R&d investment has a partial mediating effect between financial subsidies and innovation performance.
