Abstract

This article takes the frame structure as the research object, and combines wavelet analysis with genetic algorithm for structural damage identification. Firstly, wavelet analysis is used to identify the structural damage location and the number of damaged units, then the genetic algorithm is used to identify the structural damage degree. The numerical simulation results show that this method can not only identify the damage location effectively, but also accurately identify the damage degree.
