Abstract

This study aims to examine how public supervision and disclosure of government goods and services procurement contracts are implemented in Indonesia. This study shows how opening procurement data can lead to more fair, efficient, value for money and integrity competition. This study uses data from Opentender.net on government procurement of goods and services in the Province of Central Java and the Special Region of Yogyakarta from 2016 to 2020. The study’s results show that regencies/cities in Central Java and Yogyakarta have done well in planning, as evidenced by the decreased procurement of goods and services in the fourth quarter. However, it still lacks tight competition and efficiency in procuring goods and services.
