Abstract

It is a review of the distinct physical characteristics of left-handed materials. A new idea is proposed that the left-handed materials are applied to the design of microstrip antenna. Two microstrip antennas are designed based on the new left-handed Structure which definitely enhance the directivity and widen the bandwidth of the antenna.
