Abstract

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is an agency of the U.S. federal government for protecting human health and the environment. This paper studies the organizational development of the EPA and assesses the agency performance from perspectives of Bolman and Deal’s four-frame model. It analyzes the validity of the four-frame model and proposes recommendations for the EPA reform.
