- Abstract
In order to reduce the maintenance cost and the downtime of large-scale machine tool, the initial weights and thresholds of the back propagation (BP) neural network are optimized to overcome the disadvantages of the slow convergence and fall into the local optimal solutions easily. Based on the GA-BP neural network, the fault prediction model of machine tool joint surface is established.
